In late February, Stephen traveled to Phoenix, AZ, to present a Continuing Legal Education course at the Winter Meeting of the American Association for Justice.
This national organization, which is over 75 years old, supports trial lawyers across the country by defending Americans’ right to trial by jury. They “fight every day to protect our practices, our clients’ rights, and our civil justice system.” Stephen, who has a leadership position with the AAJ, was honored to be asked to lead this class. Every lawyer in the country must get a certain number of hours of learning in every year – these “Continuing Legal Education” hours help to keep attorneys up to date on the latest changes to laws and provide an excellent way to bring together lawyers from all over to collaborate and share ideas and practices that have worked well for them and might benefit others.
