Meet Coal

Coal came to the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County (AWSJC) looking for a fresh start and a family to call his own. This handsome 2-year-old Lab mix has black and brown fur, the most dreamy brown eyes, and a personality that is hard not to fall in love with!

At around 40 lbs, Coal is a great size and loves his treats, which makes him a great candidate for training. Like many dogs who have spent time in a kennel, he will need a little help adjusting to home life, but with some patience and love, he will settle right in. He is neutered and fully up to date on his vaccinations, so he is ready to go!

Coal would do best in a home where someone is willing to work with him and give him the time and attention he deserves. Whether it is a leisurely evening on the couch or a fun afternoon outside, Coal is just happy to be by your side.
