Jared earned his undergraduate degree from Shepherd University before attending the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he developed a strong interest in civil litigation and advocacy. He began his legal career with Briel PC, Attorneys, focusing on real estate law and construction disputes. Jared worked with clients ranging from property developers to homeowners, addressing issues such as contract disputes, zoning challenges, and construction defects.
Jared later transitioned to public service as a prosecutor in Berkeley County, West Virginia. There, he specifically dedicated himself to handling juvenile abuse and neglect cases, demonstrating his commitment to protecting vulnerable populations. In this role, he worked tirelessly to protect vulnerable children and ensure their safety, often advocating for those without a voice. His work required a deep understanding of the law and the ability to navigate emotionally charged and legally complex situations. Jared collaborated closely with social workers, law enforcement, educators, and family courts to build strong cases and achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and families involved. His commitment to justice and compassion for those in need shaped his approach, making a tangible difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.
Outside of work, Jared enjoys golf and spending quality time with his stepdaughter and fiancée. We are thrilled to welcome this dedicated, responsible, and compassionate lawyer to our team.
