We are proud to share some wonderful news about one of our own at Skinner Accident & Injury Lawyers. Elon University’s School of Law has chosen Attorney Alix Hazel to serve on its Advisory Board. This is an incredible honor, and we could not be more excited for her.
Alix has always been a person who strives for excellence and service. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard and her law degree from Elon. She was part of Elon Law’s very first graduating class, which makes her connection to the school very special. Now on the advisory board, she strengthens her bond with the community that shaped her career.
Eighteen respected judges, attorneys, and business leaders comprise the advisory board. Together, they provide guidance and advice that helps Elon Law prepare the next generation of lawyers. Their work helps the school continue to grow in reputation and in impact. Alix’s position on this board reflects her achievements and high standing in the legal profession.
Recognized by Elon Law
Elon Law itself recognized Alix with a profile in its newsletter. Dean Zak Kramer praised her, saying, “Alix Hazel embodies the best of Elon Law. As a member of our charter class, she knows firsthand the power of the great teaching and community that define us. Her commitment to service and justice is an inspiration, and I’m thrilled she will guide the next generation of Elon Law students as a member of our advisory board.”
Alix credited her teachers and mentors, saying, “Elon Law taught me that preparation pays off and that law is ultimately about people.” Additionally, she also spoke warmly about the “wonderful, informative, and compassionate professors” who taught her during her time at the school.
At Skinner Accident & Injury Lawyers, we see those same values in Alix every single day. She works tirelessly for her clients, always combining preparation with compassion. She knows that legal work is not just about rules and cases—it is about people and their lives. This client-centered approach is what makes her such a strong advocate and such a valued member of our team.
We are so proud of Alix for receiving this honor, especially because it highlights her hard work. We know she will make a lasting impact at Elon University by guiding future students as her professors once guided her. Her story inspires young lawyers and anyone who believes in the importance of hard work, service, and caring for others. To learn more about Alix and her work, visit her Bio Page.
