
Attorney Adam Ward
Adam J. Ward is a native of Hagerstown, Maryland who graduated from North Hagerstown High School, Shenandoah University’s School of Business and the University of Richmond’s School of Law. After law school, Adam was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney and then the Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for Louisa County, Virginia, where he acted as a senior prosecutor handling serious crimes, including offenses against children and murder.
Upon his return to the area, Adam worked as a general practitioner handling both civil and criminal matters throughout Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley, before joining the Jefferson County (WV) Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. While there, he served as a felony prosecuting attorney handling a variety of serious matters from financial crimes to violent offenses. He was involved in highly contentious and complex matters that required a nuanced, skillful tactical method. Adam earned a reputation as an aggressive advocate with a victim-centric approach through his experience as a local, state, and federal prosecutor.
When not working, Adam enjoys spending time with his children, playing and watching a variety of sports, and is an active participant in his church.
