Empowering the next generation of community leaders
The Eastern Panhandle Bar Association Charitable Foundation is proud to announce its annual scholarship program. The EPBA is awarding three scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, integrity, and a commitment to our community.
Purpose
The Eastern Panhandle Bar Association is dedicated to elevating the standards of the legal profession and fostering the spirit of justice within West Virginia. Through this scholarship, the EPBA aims to support local students from Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan Counties as they pursue their post-secondary education and strive for excellence in their future careers.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be a high school senior (or home-schooled equivalent) residing in Berkeley, Jefferson, or Morgan County, WV.

Plan to enroll in a post-secondary educational program immediately following graduation.

Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (verified by official transcripts).
How to Apply
Applying is simple. Please ensure you have the following documents ready:

Completed Application Form: Typed and signed.

Academic Records: Current transcript and verification of enrollment.

Recommendations: Two letters from non-related adults (teachers, mentors, etc.).

Activity List: A summary of your extracurricular, volunteer, and work experience.

Personal Statement: A brief description of your post-graduation plans and how this award would impact them.
